Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with David Trouton from Engagewithmusic . We work together in harmony, though often tolerate chaos and creativity within our joint workshops with children and young people.
Some projects start with a piece of music or a song and then pupils create a piece of animation to work with it. Sometimes it works the other way round with Dave supporting groups with instruments or digitally mixing music, voice and improvised sound effects.
One project at the Tolbooth in Stirling challenged the group to create music and animation synchronised. Dave works with individuals and groups to create specific moods to suit to films.
This next film was part of a large mixed arts project called ‘The World Where I Am’ , which featured Film, Music and Photography and often took place outside and just post the Covid lockdowns. The film was made in collaboration with young adults supported by PLUS Forth Valley.
